Woodland Wonderland Stay and Play Room
at Cleveland Public Library

Family Connections and the Cleveland Public Library (CPL) have teamed up to bring the Woodland Wonderland to the Central/Promise Neighborhood of Cleveland.  Located at the Woodland Branch of CPL, this Early Literacy Playroom is modeled after our two existing library playrooms in Shaker Heights and Cleveland Heights.  Offering two, 2-hour sessions a week, the Woodland Wonderland offers families with children ages 0-5 a fun and literacy-rich environment to play and learn together.  Filled with games, activities, toys and books, the playroom and staff provide early learning skills and experiences for both children and parents or caregivers.  Play is the language of learning for young children and helps stimulate brain development and language skills.  Parents and children playing together strengthens bonds and creates patterns of coaching and support that carry well into a child’s school years.

FREE drop-in sessions are offered throughout the week and are open year-round.  Pre-registration is not required. - May PROMISE News
