Play fun games incluiding a ring toss, hula hoop contest, hermit crab races and more, as you enjoy gourmet food by J. Pistone, beer, wine and a special cocktail. A wine pull to delight every taste and a
Silent Auction filled with treats and treasures.
The special attraction will be the presentation of the 2012 Carolyn Grossman Award to an individual to be honored for extraordinary commitment to parents of young children.

Dads Day RunFamily Connections' 10th Annual DADSDAY RUN

What a great way for the whole family to spend Father's Day! Join Family Connections for the 10th Annual DadsDay Run, Sunday, June 17, 2012. This race is for everyone, not just Dad, runners, walkers and strollers are encouraged. It features a 5 mile and a 1 mile course through Shaker Heights, which starts and ends at Shaker Family Center, 19824 Sussex Road.

Dads Day Run Race participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt and awards are given to top finishers of both races, and in honor of Father's Day everyone receives a "tie"
when crossing the finish line.


Also featured is a FREE Kidsprint for ages 3-12, food and refreshments will be available after the race.

All proceeds benefit Family Connections, a local 501(c)3 with a mission to provide the ideal environment for parents to become highly involved in their child's positive growth and better equipped to ensure their success.

Market Day

Order delicious and quality food products, while helping to raise money for our various programs for families.  Market Day, a monthly fundraising food program, was created to help raise valuable funds for organizations, schools, and community groups.   A portion of all total monthly sales benefits Family Connections and its programs. Choose from a huge variety of items- like meats, produce, breakfast foods, kid-friendly snacks, desserts and much more.  Then conveniently pick up your order in the gym of the Shaker Family Center building on the designated sale date. 

Orders can be placed online at www.marketday.com (enter account # 13622 to designate the Shaker Family Center facility as pick-up location), or forms are available at both Family Connections locations.  All orders must be submitted, either online or to Family Connections, by the deadline date listed on Market Day website or on back of order form.
